About Jointz

Jointz is a curated online platform that provides local hip hop lyrics, as well as reviews and discussions around the state of hip hop in South Africa. The platform is interactive in nature and allows users to participate in the posting of lyrics, reviews, artist information and short blogs. Initially a mobile only platform, Jointz has been re-imaged to cater for its ever growing desktop audience as of version 3.0.1.

Jointz was started in 2014 as a hobby project and grew to attract astronomical numbers barely two years later. It is for this reason that the platform was then re-imaged to include more content, features and functionality for users to enjoy. Jointz is meant for the enjoyment of its music loving audience.

Jointz has grown to see participation from artists in terms of contributions to its lyrics database as well as an increase in active users.
